This was a commissioned painting of a doggie that loved running, swimming and always had a tennis ball around him. He was very loving, friendly and such a happy dog and always wanted to be around people. Thanks, Amy! I loved painting Harley's sweet face.
I hope the painting brings back wonderful memories for your mom.

Brenda, thanks so much! The feeling is mutual. I am going to be focusing more on my animal portraits, but continuing to paint plein air, which helps with the backgrounds of my critter paintings.
