I am preparing for an art show the first of August in a town that has the same feel as this painting. This was painted from a photo I took on the forth of July in Boothbay, Maine. I loved the mood of the shadows and the sun streaming through between the buildings. It is so much fun trying to capture the emotion and feel of the day. I wonder how many lobsters have been enjoyed on the little picnic table between the buildings. Yum!
