Kimberly asked us to, "Using the same reference, create two paintings, each unique in scale. The paintings you create should be different compositionally - take advantage of cropping/modifying the scale/shift in focal point and build two separate pieces."
I enjoyed this challenge and ended up making changes because I could see what I liked in one painting over the other. Loved the graphic quality of the shapes the light and shadow made in the photo.

Carol, this is excellent! You did such a nice job with the challenge and the photo. Although now I would really like to take a little cat nap instead of going back to my painting :)
