Bees are such incredible insects, and I have always been intrigued by them.
I am very allergic to their sting though, so they were not bff's of mine growing up. One summer at my grandmother's I was stung 5 times and could not get my shoe on because of the swelling.
My good friend and artist, Susan Jones, who attended Dreama's workshop with me purchased this painting as soon as I posted on facebook. Way cool!! Can't wait to get started on some more paintings using this palette. New favorite color is Richeson Shiva Ice Blue, the lightest blue/grey color in the background.

Thanks, Marilyn! I would highly recommend taking Dreama's workshop. She is posting her schedule for next year very soon. You have to get in as soon as possible because it fills up so quickly.
