Catch a Wave

 5x7 inch oil on linen
6x6 inch oil on cradled canvas
SOLD

As I have said before, I love painting dogs in water. Just finished the one on top and I am trying to decide which one to give to a local church for a silent auction for youth missions. Two different dogs, top I believe a golden retriever and the bottom a brown lab. If interested in either let me know by tomorrow.
I am ready for a spring break vacation back to the beach for more reference. :)

I am joining the Paint Party Friday today! I hope you will visit and enjoy all the beautiful work by such creative artists.

Be sure and check out my Etsy cleaning out studio sale at the top of page.

  10. I love your dogs in the water! They look like they're having so much fun! Makes me wonder if my dogs will like the water or not. We rescued them in December and they haven't experienced any water yet.

Spring break sounds good to me! Hope you do get to go on vacation to the beach! :)

    Happy PPF!

  15. Lovely work. I think the second one is my favorite. Water and animals are both difficult to paint, but you have it! Have a good day.

  19. I am so thankful for everyones comments on their favorite painting. I ended up taking the top one of the golden retriever. It was the top choice and also a very popular breed. I so appreciate everyone stopping by. I am sorry I have not been able to visit your blogs as much as I wanted due to a very busy weekend.

  21. Reminds me of my dear departed pooch, who loved to swim out to sea to retieve his ball. Lovely paintings, it's a hard choice between them,
