When I think about our dairy farm I remember going barefoot in the creek as one of the highlights of my childhood. This little waterfall is on the golf course which was once the dairy farm. I wonder how many wonder filled hours I spent exploring God's water creatures in this creek. I was so intrigued by every slimy little critter.

What lovely memories you have, I can imagine what fun you had as a child. Great idea to do a series of water scenes, happy painting.
Lovely painting, Carol. Very painterly and great composition. What wonderful memories you have...thank you for sharing.
Hey carol! Sorry I haven't stopped by lately. So fun seeing all the beautiful works you have been doing. think 'waterdog" is my favorite. You did an incredible job with this creek scene too. Love the way you left some ground showing through to compliment the colors in the creek.
I will be at the Brentwood show the first of December. Come see me if you get a chance.
Diana, I do have great memories and a lot of times determines what I paint. My paintbrush follows my heart.
