"Double Trouble"

This was painted from another photo taken on our farm before it was sold. I painted another for my dad on father's day in June named By the Shed. Since I posted last, my work was excepted into a gallery in Historical Leiper's Fork, right outside of Nashville, Tn. You can read a little about this quaint little town and Laurel Leaf Gallery in the November issue of Southern Living Magazine on page 35. I love Leiper's Fork, so this was totally an answered prayer.

Today Outside My Studio

Today outside my studio I had friends visiting once again.:) Over the past year I  have taken several photos of my visitors. You can see earlier in my blog a deer who came up on my porch. I think they knew I was looking for some inspiration. I hope you find the inspiration to do what you love today.

 These two puppies Irina (the white Golden) and Shannon are beautiful dogs of a good friend of mine. Irina has gone to heaven and is greatly missed.

"Afternoon Sun" Cat Portrait by Carol DeMumbrum

This is our neighbor's cat "Zoe", she loves to come sit on our front porch and tease our dog. Coco goes crazy every time she sees her, so finally I let them meet face to face. Zoe was not as happy to see Coco and quickly showed her who was boss with a quick slap, but then she would rub up against her. I guess you can say theirs is a love-hate relationship.
