"Sedona Sparkle"

This was painted from a beautiful challenge photo on Lee Brown's blog— A Day Not Waisted
Lee has amazing photos for each month's challenge. This month he shares info on a Photoshop plugin called Topaz Simplify for Digital Simplification—I looked and there is a free trial.  The sad thing for me is my computer is too old for it. :(  I think a visit to Santa might be in order. :)

Mornin' Carol,
Love the stillness of your painting. The only thing better would be to be there in person. Enjoy your day.

Beautifully done Carol. I love your brushwork and the palate! Oh yes, Santa should most definitely show up with an imac! it's invaluable! Again lovely piece!

I love the way you handled the foreground and background. It really showcases your Sedona mountain.

Thanks everyone for their kind comments!! Suzanne, I have been sitting on Santa's knee asking for an imac. I guess I better be on my best behavior—Ha.
