"Grandma's Basket"
I am probably going to work on this one some more, but I wanted to post something today. This onion started growing hair in our kitchen, so I immediately said do not chop that onion. I still need to work on his/her hair some more. I should have called it bad hair day. Did any of your Grandma's eat jalapeno and habanero peppers?

"Christmas Lily"
One of the beautiful flowers in my mother-in-law's garden. The center of the flower made me think of the star of Bethlehem that guided the wise men to see baby Jesus, so that is where I came up with the name "Christmas Lily".
"On Her Toes"
This is a painting I painted for my niece who loves dance and music. It was such a joy painting for loved ones for Christmas presents. Here is another example of a wider frame.

"Chillin"
This is a Christmas present for my brother-in-law, the owner of two beautiful huskies. The painting reminded me of the colors John Singer Sargent often used. Sargent is one of my favorite painters, so any resemblance of color to his paintings makes me feel happy inside. :) I thought I would show a painting in a frame so everyone could see how it looks framed. I hope he does not look at my blog in the next couple of days.

"White Beauty"
It is fun to paint white and see all the colors reflected on it. I can picture a beautiful sunrise in the foreground.

"I'm Sorry"
This puppy looked like he might have done something wrong and was giving his owner the I'm sorry look.
Salad Anyone?
These veggies were so much fun to paint!! I hope to paint a companion piece in the near future. Oh yeah, a tomato is a fruit not a vegetable. :)
